FlowCAD3D for fitters

Drawing on site

• The fitter makes a drawing for a project on the tablet or phone: with large buttons, a keypad or by pointing in 3D.
• Photos are added to the drawing; Submit… sends it to the work preparer.
• The work preparer approves the drawing or returns it to the fitter with a comment. My assignments shows the projects to be drawn, in fabrication and in installation.

During fabrication and installation

• Deviations found during installation are drawn and submitted.
• Site progress per spool, weld and line, from planned to tested or approved, with photos, history and the status in 3D. Export to Excel, including the weld dossier.
• Comments with discussions and photos on pipes and components; messages with photos and read receipts.
• Notifications at every step of the process.

Without a connection

In the cloud version, drawings made available offline can be viewed (read-only), and progress is registered in a queue, up to 30 days after the last online start. Editing in the cloud needs a connection.

Scanning a room

The app FlowCAD3D Scan for iPad Pro and iPhone Pro with a LiDAR scanner scans a room and sends the point cloud to the project. A point cloud is never sent without an action of the user. More: LiDAR scan to model.

Viewing the model

• Walk-through: walking through the model at eye level, with collisions; on the tablet with a joystick.
• AR view on iPhone and iPad through AR Quick Look; on other devices as a GLB or USDZ file.

Which device does a fitter need?

A tablet or phone with a current web browser. The interface Tablet / phone works with touch, pen and gestures and contains all functions.

What does a Fitter licence cost?

€ 119 per user per month, excluding VAT, cancellable per month.

Does FlowCAD3D work without an internet connection?
